Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. This policy does not exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

UK customers have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Australian customers have consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by any contract or policy.

Faulty, damaged, or not-as-described items (all customers)

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or materially different from the product description, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a refund or replacement. We will cover reasonable return postage costs for confirmed faulty or not-as-described items.

Australian customers — your consumer guarantee rights

Under the Australian Consumer Law, products must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for any purpose we have represented. These guarantees apply regardless of sale pricing, promotions, or any other terms in this policy.

If a product has a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement. A major failure includes a product that is significantly different from its description, substantially unfit for its common purpose, unsafe, or has a defect that a reasonable consumer would not have purchased the product had they known about it.

If a product has a minor failure, we may choose to offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion, within a reasonable timeframe.

You do not need to return the product in its original packaging to be entitled to a remedy for a faulty item. We will cover return postage costs for products confirmed as faulty or not of acceptable quality.

Change of mind — UK customers

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. To exercise this right, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You must return the item unused, in its original packaging, at your own cost. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Refunds include the cost of standard delivery but not any expedited or premium shipping originally paid.

Change of mind — US, Canadian, and Australian customers

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind on non-faulty items for orders shipped to the United States, Canada, or Australia. This does not affect Australian customers' rights under the Australian Consumer Law for products that fail to meet consumer guarantees.

How to request a return

Contact us at support@technixx.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue. For faulty or damaged items, please include photographs. Do not return items without contacting us first — we need to provide you with return instructions.

Acceptable proof of purchase includes your order confirmation email, transaction record from your payment provider, or bank/credit card statement showing the transaction.

Refund processing

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Original shipping costs are only refunded for faulty/not-as-described items or UK cancellations (standard delivery only).

Non-returnable items

Items that have been used, modified, or are not in their original packaging are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Sealed items that have been opened may not be eligible for return for hygiene or safety reasons.

These exclusions do not apply to faulty items. Under Australian Consumer Law, original packaging is not required when returning a faulty product. Under UK consumer law, the condition of returned faulty goods does not affect your right to a remedy.
